Acceptable Use Policy

Effective October 31, 2026. Applies to everything published, requested or uploaded through Markivia.

You may not use Markivia to

• Publish content that is false or misleading about your business, prices, licences, qualifications, reviews or results.
• Publish content that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark or privacy, including photos you do not have the right to use.
• Publish content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or that promotes violence or illegal activity.
• Promote products or services that the connected platforms or advertising networks prohibit, or that require licences you do not hold.
• Contact people who have asked not to be contacted, or send unsolicited bulk messages.
• Upload malicious files, attempt to access another business’s workspace, or probe the service for weaknesses.
• Use AI-generated images to depict real people, real premises or real products as if they were photographs.

Platform rules

Content published to Facebook, Instagram, Google Business Profile or advertising networks must also follow those platforms’ policies. If a platform rejects or removes content, we will tell you and will not republish it.

What we do about violations

We may decline to publish a draft, remove published content, pause automation, or suspend an account. For serious or repeated violations we may end the agreement. We will tell you what happened and why, unless the law prevents it.
