Privacy Policy
Effective October 31, 2026. Markivia Digital LLC (“Markivia”) operates Markivia.
Who this covers
This policy covers two groups: businesses and their team members who use Markivia, and customers of those businesses whose information reaches Markivia, for example by sending an inquiry through a website we host. For customer information we act as a service provider to the business; the business decides why it is collected and how it is used. If you contacted a business that uses Markivia, that business is your first point of contact.
What we collect
- Account information: name, email, password (stored only as a hash), timezone, and the business you belong to.
- Business information you give us: your brand guide, services, offers, logos, photos and files, and answers to onboarding questions.
- Connected platform data: when you connect Facebook, Instagram or Google Business Profile, we store an encrypted authorization token, the page or profile identifier and its name. We request only the permissions needed for your plan. We do not receive your platform password.
- Inquiries and leads: name, contact details and message of people who contact your business through your website or through connected platforms and advertising, plus notes your team adds.
- Billing: handled by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer identifier and subscription status, never full card numbers.
- Usage and security records: sign-in events, approvals, actions in the audit log, and technical logs needed to run and secure the service.
How we use it
To provide and improve the service: create your website and drafts, publish what you approve, show you inquiries, bill you, keep your account secure, and support you. We use AI tools to generate drafts and images from the brand information you approved. Brand information is sent to our AI provider for that purpose; your customers’ contact details, credentials and payment data are not.
Who we share it with
Service providers who process data for us under contract: hosting and database (Vercel, Neon), file storage, email delivery (Resend), payments (Stripe), AI generation (OpenAI), and the platforms you connect (Meta, Google) when you publish to them. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We may disclose information when required by law.
Platform data
Data obtained from Meta and Google APIs is used only to provide the features you enabled, is stored encrypted, and is deleted when you disconnect the platform or close your account. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How long we keep it
For as long as your business has an active account, then for 30 days to allow export, after which it is deleted as described in Data Deletion. Removed files are purged 30 days after removal. Audit and billing records may be kept longer where the law requires.
Your choices and rights
You can view and edit your business information in Markivia, disconnect platforms, export your records, and close your account. Depending on where you live, including under California law, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold, to have it corrected or deleted, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Send requests to husnain@markiviadigital.com. If you are a customer of a business that uses Markivia, we will forward your request to that business and help it respond.
Security
Connections are encrypted in transit; platform tokens and authenticator secrets are encrypted at rest; passwords are hashed; administrator accounts use two-factor sign-in; access is logged. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify you of a breach affecting your data as the law requires.
Children
Markivia is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes and contact
We will post changes here and notify account holders of material changes. Questions: husnain@markiviadigital.com.
